Bookmaker - Payout and BetPoints PLAYERS BEWARE

Players please beware, I realize Bookmaker is a reputable sportsbook and I actually really like the site etc. However, I'm frustrated with a couple of things, which I thought I should share. On 2/12/22, I made a depsoit of ~ $28K and ran my account up to $1.7M playing sports. During that time, my BetPoints were deactivated for no reason, other then I was on a massive winning streak. The other issue is their payout methods, which max out a $100k per month and there are zero exceptions. Therefore, it would have taken me over 1 1/2 years to withdrawl my funds. If that is the case, why deactivate my BetPoints, which would have resulted in Tens of thousands of dollars, since I was risking upwards of $500-$1M a day in wagers. Below is the email I sent to their management, but have yet to receive a response.

To Whom It May Concern,

First off, I would like to take the time to acknowledge, I believe your company is the best online sportsbook in the business, period. That said, I do have some concerns that I would like to share with management.

Acct: BKR281662

I’ve been a player for nearly 35 years and had both good and bad experiences with online sportsbooks as well as bookies. There are pros and cons to both methods, as far as I’m concerned, the differentiator is the live gaming model which can only be entertained by online or brick and mortar casinos. However, the online platform allows you to play at any time, which makes it the most convenient and efficient method. The largest and most consistent con with online gambling is the ability/inability to withdraw funds in a timely manner.

My first issue is with the withdrawal limits that Bookmaker provides for Crypto/Bitcoin, which is $25k per day M-Fri and a maximum of $100k per month. Now, for anyone familiar with the Crypto market knows there are no processor restrictions, which is what your customer service agents specify. As a player/client, I’m able to deposit up to $1M via Bitcoin in a day without any issue. However, as a customer I’m restricted to withdraw $25k per day $100k per month. I believe the process put in place by your management is designed to ensure a player continues playing (knowing they will eventually lose back a portion or majority of those funds) as well as limits Bookmaker’s exposure to cash flow issues. I realize these rules are specified in your disclaimer, but often these details are overlooked by consumers.

Recently, I had funds of $1.5M - $1.7M in my account, but in theory if I wanted to withdraw my winnings it would take me over 1 ½ years, which is ludicrous!

My second issue is regarding bonus and promotional offers. The rules are stated below on your website, as followed:

10. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

10.1 All promotional offers are temporary and can be removed at any time and without advanced warning.

10.2 Rollover rules must be met in full as stipulated on each individual promotion before any withdrawal can be made.

10.3 BookMaker reserves the right to exclude any customer from any specific promotion, or entirely from all promotional offers, including the BetPoints™ Rewards Program, at any time and without warning for any reason, including abuse or violation of the terms and conditions of the promotion(s) or program.

Initially, I had access to both deposit and BetPoints rewards on my account. However, after a significant winning streak both methods were deactivated. In turn, customer support did not provide an explanation, but did indicate this was a decision made by upper management. The irony in all of this is that based on Bookmaker’s withdrawal limits and the fact I had my BetPoints deactivated after a large winning streak, it appears the rules were being stacked in favor of BM. Over the past couple of weeks, I proceeded to lose the funds I had won, which validates your withdrawal model works.

In closing, I’m disappointed that your withdrawal limits cannot be increased, but I understand that as a customer I agreed to those terms. However, the fact my BetPoints were deactivated during this time, seems very unfair. Especially considering the volume of play I had daily, which would have likely resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in BetPoints. I realize your management is not willing to change any of these rules, but I ask that they reconsider on the honoring the BetPoints.

If they elect not to do anything, I do want to share my story with certain outlets to ensure consumers are aware and educated. I realize sports gaming is a multibillion-dollar business and is very competitive, but consumers MUST be aware of situations like this to ensure they make the most informed decisions. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing back from management.

Thank you,

One tip, use Justbet and Galaxysports too, that would double/triple your withdrawal rate from 1 to 3 accounts. I also lost my betpoints, about $600-700 worth at the time. All things considering I should have withdrew it periodically.

But given that you require 1.5 years to withdrawal that is a good problem to have!

Those withdrawal limits have been in place for 2 years now. If you were concerned about being able to withdraw faster why did you keep betting/increasing your balance?

10.1 All promotional offers are temporary and can be removed at any time and without advanced warning.
10.3 BookMaker reserves the right to exclude any customer from any specific promotion, or entirely from all promotional offers, including the BetPoints™ Rewards Program, at any time and without warning for any reason, including abuse or violation of the terms and conditions of the promotion(s) or program.

Doesn't this answer your question about bet points and bonuses?

He could have won faster than he could withdrawal. That can be the case for most books.

Also becareful, if you get the books management attention, they can remove your Betpoints, live waginger, increase your odds. That happened to me and they probably do you too if you taking them for 7 figures.

Nice to see you here Bulldog.

I don't really understand your thread. Everything you're saying Bookmaker did (deactivating deposit bonus, deactivating BetPoints, keeping standard withdrawal limits) is well within Bookmaker's terms and conditions.

Bookmaker has been deactivating BetPoints for winners going back years. It's in their terms and it's easy to find other players online who have had the same experience. It's no secret that such promotions exist to keep losers playing, so of course winners will lose that privilege. Similar for deposit bonuses. To my knowledge, there aren't any cases of Bookmaker confiscating BetPoints already rewarded as long as the player didn't break rules.

There have been cases in the past in which Bookmaker management has offered higher withdrawal limits. That's up to the managers' discretion though and I would never count on that.

Hi Sportsbettor5, I appreciate the response.

I realize the fact they deactivate the points for winners, but that coupled with the restriction of limiting withdrawls to $100k per month, yet I can depsosit up to $1M in day, seems unreasonable. The book essentially stacks every variable in their favor, which is the reason they always win, in the long run. I wish I would have been aware of the withdrawl limits prior to playing and just want others to be aware as well.

I only hate on dumb posts about a book clearly following their terms of service. Mods should actually change this thread title because there is nothing to beware of. It isn't like bookmaker is trying to hide the fact that promotions are for recreational players or that they have 25k withdrawal limits, been known for years.

Why the reason for 25k limits? To keep people gambling with hopes they lose it back and prevents the book from having cash flow issues? You are right, they follow the rule that are put in place for idiots like you and me, knowing they have every rule in place to ensure they win longterm. No more offshore for me, when you win, there should be no issues cashing out, period. Why can I depoit a 1M and only withdrawl 25K, fucing insanely stupid.

The only idiot here is the one complaining about withdrawal limits that have been in place for YEARS. Not days, not weeks, YEARS. So either you are too dumb to look at what the withdrawal limits were when you deposited or you were too dumb to check them during your run up. Either way it was a dumb move on your part and now you want to make a dumb post about one of the top books in the industry. Anywhere I play I know exactly what their terms of service are and what the risks are.

Every sportsbook is going to cut off your promotions if you prove to be a big winner. It's not something you can complain about. I mean, you can complain, but it's futile.

As for the withdrawal limit, if you've been in the game for 35 years, then you should know by now that balance management is critically important.

On the 100k per month limit. There are exceptions! Only problem is getting through to someone beyond live chat, because they will just copy and paste the "no exceptions" rule. There was someone on SBR (not sure if it's allowed to mention their name there), who had the same issue and then eventually he got those raised.

Here is my take, $25K per withdrawal up to $100K is high for the industry but I would say low for a "pro" book.

In the same way I felt Hertiagesports withdrawal limit on the low side at $5K per day M-F$ $2K on S-Sun, when you can put $10K on a game.

There should be a withdrawal limit that is correlated to the bet size. Like if you willing to take $100K bet size, then it doesn't make sense to have a $2K withdrawal size.
