Bovada Poker Betting Limits

No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit games are all offered at Bovada Poker. Each game type determines the amount you can bet during each turn and betting round.

Fixed Limit games implement a cap, which is the maximum number of allowable raises in each betting round. Typically, the cap is set at three raises. Once the cap is reached, all players must either call or fold. However, if only two players remain, the cap may be increased to a maximum of five raises. In No Limit games, there are no maximum bet limits, and players have the freedom to bet their entire stack at any time. The minimum bet is typically the equivalent of the big blind amount. In both Pot Limit (PL) and No Limit (NL) games, if someone bets or raises an amount greater than your chip stack, you can choose to go “all-in.” This means you are risking your entire stack for a chance to win the main pot corresponding to your stack. Any additional bets or raises from other players go into a side pot.
