Sporting Options founder Kevin Griffiths ends up being owed more than £1m by the collapsed betting exchange, making him the company\’s biggest single creditor. He is believed to have put £80,000 into the company just weeks before joint administrators were appointed. The former options trader set up Sporting Options in 2002 with colleague Richard Byrne who left the company in May. While the majority of the exchange\’s customers had less than £1,000 in their accounts at least two high rollers are owed more than £100,000 each.
