The online betting group claimed that Zubee.com, a Canadian company owner of the domain sportingbet.net, had no legitimate interest in the name and that it was acting in bad faith in registering and holding on to it. The World Intellectual Property Organisation\’s Arbitration and Mediation Centre said Sportingbet could not prove any evidence of its rights in the trademark Sportingbet at the time of the registration of the contested domain and as a result, Zubee will be permitted to keep the domain.
