As the hearing in the case brought by the Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association against the US Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, seeking a temporary restraining order against the implementation of the UIGEA, has been further delayed to September 26, the United States have filed a motion to dismiss the case in its entirety claiming that it lacks standing since none of the iMEGA’s members have been prosecuted or threatened with prosecution under the UIGEA.
