Unibet has already begun the recruitment of a new CEO.

“I have spent five exciting and intensive years, together with founder and entrepreneur Anders Ström, building up Unibet and achieving its Stock exchange listing. I now feel the time is right to hand over to someone new,” Pontus Lesse said in his announcement.

“Pontus has carried a heavy burden in building up Unibet, especially with the IPO. We now start a new five-year period with new challenges and I have a great understanding that Pontus now chosen to phase out himself from the CEO-position,” Mats Sundström, Unibet’s chairman, commented.
