FIFA through its Early Warning System and UEFA in collaboration with the European Sports Security Association and the European Lotteries will continue to monitor betting markets for anomalies and suspicious betting patterns, the soccer governing bodies said in separate statements.
David Pittel of the European Sports Security Association confirmed they have agreed to examine ways to co-operate more closely with UEFA and soccer in general in order to detect suspicious betting activities very early on.
