Nick Rust, Director of Betting and Gaming at BSkyB, has been appointed as Chairman of the newly formed RGA, while Ian Spearing, Group Director of William Hill, has agreed to be the Vice-Chairman.

The RGA has been established following the merger of the Association of Remote Gambling Operators (ARGO) and the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (iGGBA) to work with regulators, governments and others to provide an international environment where the remote gambling industry can thrive and where consumers are properly protected.

“I look forward to us taking the best from both associations as the RGA moves ahead. Our membership is almost a whos who of the industry and I will not be short of expertise or good advice,” commented Rust.
