The local Government has invited land-based casino operators to bid for the development of the country\’s first integrated casino and entertainment resort. Industry sources said Singapore is planning to extend the offer to license online casinos.
Singapore had for several decades opposed casinos on its soil, but is now considering a change before of the expected deregulation of other Asian gaming markets.
