Sam Allardyce has emerged as the clear favourite for UK bookmaker Coral, while Centrebet reported significant support for Guus Hiddink to become England\’s next manager succeeding Sven Goran Eriksson after this year\’s World Cup.
Coral slashed Allardyce\’s odds to 4-1 from 5-1 having taken a four-figure bet on the internet. Centrebet cut Hiddink\’s odds to 7-2 from 5-1.
Bolton Wanderers’ Sam Allardyce said he “appreciates being the bookies\’ favourite.”
“There again it is just about me focusing on what I need to do. That is getting positive results for Bolton,” he added.
