The decision follows eight months of protests from the Association of Portuguese Casinos and the Santa Casa da Misericordia, a charity which holds the state gambling monopoly .
The APC said in a statement that the court considered the BetandWin\’s contract illegal as only gambling activities promoted by SCML can be advertised in Portugal.
