Turnover in the online division has increased by 67% in the first 19 weeks of 2005 compared to the same period last year, while overall group turnover, including the retail and telephone divisions, has increased by 30%.

Bookmaking gross win percentages have been relatively flat in comparison to 2004, particularly in the Irish retail division, which has the highest proportion of horse racing business and suffered the high number of Irish trained horses winning in April.

Casino and games revenues have seen continued strong growth in 2005, while for the poker business launched in February 2005 it remains too early to make a significant impact.

Earnings for the first half of 2005 should be close to those of the same period in 2004 and in line with expectations.
