Paddy Power and William Hill looking at Molloys

The two major bookmakers are considering a bid for the estate of ten betting shops owned by Joe Molloy, estimated to be worth €10m.

Paddy Power is looking at re-establish its leadership as the major betting shop operator in Ireland. The Dublin-based company had been recently surpassed by Ladbrokes, after that the British bookmaker acquired 12 bookie shops from John Harney.
