Over 50% of respondents visit online casinos and poker sites more than 5 times a week, with just under a third visiting every day. And on average, over half spend from 5 to over 10 hour a week gambling online.

Over half of respondents spend just £50 or less a month on gambling of which 38% spend under £20.

Interestingly online gamblers do not appear to also be particularly large sports bettors as well. Just 12% use an online bookmaker, 6% offline and 6% use an online betting exchange.

Over third of players are 25-34 years old. Just under 50% are between 35 and 54 years old.

Nine per cent of casino and online poker players said that they would like to quit their jobs to play online professionally.
