According to Christiansen Capital Advisors, a US researcher, projected revenues for the online gambling industry will almost double the current figures, with the increase expected to come largely from poker, as a result of the game’s ever-increasing popularity and television coverage growth.
Poker is currently America’s most popular televised game after football and car-racing, and despite online poker has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the past 12 months, the gambling industry will be delighted to hear that the trend is expected to continue.
