Olympic Sports Data Services said the name change is a natural transition, one which will enhance marketing campaigns, distinguish its first and foremost property, and help solidify the brand recognition of a single brand name.
Market research revealed that even though many clients were aware of Olympic Sports Book as the company name, most referred to it as “The Greek,” which represent both the web site address as well as the owner’s nationality.
“The Greek” will also tie in with other offerings under the same brand name. These include The Greek Casino, which offers casino games, and The Greek Poker, which is an online poker room.
The Greek Sports Book has also introduced a new website look, featuring easier navigation and enhanced content, as well as a year-round bonus program offering new players a 21% bonus and existing players 11% bonus reloads, but the tradition of “sweat the game, not the payout” continues.
