The former Betfair non-executive director has been appointed as Sporting Index\’s new Chairman. Entrepreneur Chris Akers will become a non-executive director as the spread betting firm prepares to expand its business overseas.
Sporting Index, which is the undisputed leader for sports spread betting in the UK, is now looking at possible marketing partnerships, acquisitions or joint ventures in a number of other countries.
