ManU vs. Watford – Home Side The Strongest?

Manchester United let odds-on punters down last week in their home match with Hull and can they be trusted again is the question at short prices when they host Watford at the weekend?

Jose Mourinho\’s side dominated against the Tigers\’ but they just couldn\’t put the ball in the back of the net but they put that right last weekend with the 3-0 destruction of champions Leicester at the KingPower and even at the general 1.25 it\’s very hard to make a case against the home side.

United haven\’t lost in the Premier League since October a run that has now stretched for 14 matches and even though the prices look short, I just can\’t see anything other than an easy home win.

Watford won of the shocks of the Premier League season in their last away game with a 2-1 win over Arsenal at The Emirates and they are considered a general 13.00 with the bookies to get another shock win.

They will prove popular with smaller players at that price, but if you are new to gambling or tempted by the huge odds a $2 bet on the Hornet\’s at that price will see you lose $2.

Walter Mazzarri\’s side have just won back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since September and they did beat United 3-1 at Vicarage Road earlier in the season, but despite their two recent wins they only won just the once in the 10 games prior and I can\’t see lightning repeating itself against the in-form United.

The “Special One” has made United strong at the back again and with clean sheets in their last three matches I just can\’t see Watford scoring at Old Trafford and again instead of backing the 1.25 on a home win the 1.91 with Coral on them to win to nil looks the best bet in the match something United have now done three times on Watford\’s last four visits to the Theatre of Dreams.

I don\’t think this will be particular one-sided scoreline as United matches never are, but the home side are a team that I want on my side for the remainder of the season and a comfortable 2-0 win at 6.50 with Bet365  looks the best bet in the correct score markets.
