Long on Ladbrokes, short on 888

While talks of a private equity bid for Ladbrokes are doing the rounds once again and apparently Ladbrokes\’ interest for 888 has gone cold, investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort suggested investors to go short on 888 and long on Ladbrokes as it reckons 888\’s current price is overvalued and the Ladbrokes price at 400p does not factor in full the benefits of the eventual take over.
