The parent company of VIP Sports announced the acquisition of the vip.com domain for a total consideration of $1.4m.

Commenting on the acquisition, Alistair Assheton, Leisure & Gaming Chief Executive said: “We have already invested significant marketing into our various VIP brands – owning this domain will allow us to further strengthen our branding, lower our cost per acquisition (CPA) and capture revenues from additional customers.”

“This is a tremendous opportunity for us to capitalise on the work we have already put into the VIP brand within the online gambling industry, and will allow us to make further use of this very memorable name to attract and recruit customers across our target markets,” he added.
