Ladbrokes buys Sponsio

The UK bookmaker has agreed to pay an initial consideration of £36 million to acquire its Scandinavian betting partner, with an additional £4 million due if future growth targets are achieved in the region. Ladbrokes first signed a partnership agreement with Sponsio in 2001 to expand the Ladbrokes business in the Nordic region.
