La Liga Weekend Match Value

This could be a quiet weekend of betting with very few likely bets on the cards right now.  Things are likely to change as the odds shift but right now I’m working with just a few selections.

There’s nothing on Friday night for me right now as the Celta Vigo v Leganes game looks like it could go either way.  Push me and I’d say this one could go over 2.5 but even at odds at green-listed bookmakers around 2.2 I’m not prepared to get on that boat.

Eibar surprised me at the weekend as they picked up a resounding win.  They’re away against Alaves this weekend and although this game is a chance for them to put together back to back wins, I’m not betting on it.

Real Madrid v Malaga smacks of a resounding home win.  The bookies are making it very difficult to into the Over/Under market or the Asian Handicap market but there is a little something in the area of Both Teams To Score.  I think the Real Madrid defence is underrated this season and at odds of 1.91 with Ladbrokes I’m happy to go for BTTS No in this instance.

Real Betis v Girona is a game I’m very happy to skip right over.

Levante v Atletico Madrid is not a game I’m going to skip.  Levante haven’t been great recently but they’re not a side that are easy to push over and Atletico have looked more solid than sparkling this season.  I think the odds of 3.97 for the draw are quite generous for this game and while I’m not going large, I am on this one.

Sundays games are just as difficult and although there is a bet on the first game between Deportivo La Coruna and Athletic Bilbao, it’s not a sign of things to come.  For the record, I’m on the away side in this one as I think Bilbao have the quality to win away from home at odds of 2.8 with Pinnacle.

Real Sociedad should pick up a home win against bottom side Las Palmas but the question is:

“By how many?”

The bookies aren’t giving much away in this one and that doesn’t make it easy to find anything profitable.

I’ve got to skip over Villarreal v Sevilla as the comeback by Sevilla in the Champions League midweek could actually spur them on here.

Valencia v Barcelona is the match I’m really looking forward to this weekend.  Valencia have been good this season, much more so than in recent years, and that’s given us a chance to back Barcelona at close to evens.  I’m on an away win at 1.95 with Pinnacle.

That finishes off my La Liga betting this weekend as I’m not prepared to risk anything on Espanyol v Getafe.

Enjoy your weekend, enjoy your football but be careful with your betting.
