In January 2006 alone, the skill gaming site hosted a total of 40 million games with over 84,000 paying customers, vs. 25 million games and 62,000 customers in September 2005.
King.com, which launched in 2004 as Midasplayer.com, experienced rapid growth thanks to the support of exclusive partners, including Yahoo (US and Europe), AOL (Europe), Lycos (Europe), msn.co.uk, T-Online and RTL.de, and the launch of popular genre games, such as card games, puzzles and word games.
The company has also made a number of recent appointments, including the CFO appointment of Owen O’Donnell, formerly at Betfair.
