The unavoidable dispute which will start between Italy and the European Commission on the legitimacy of the measure to deny access for the foreign betting operators, who are not in possession of an Italian concession, to the Italian market, will not stop the adoption of the legislative measure established with the Finance Act 2006.
Italian media reports suggest a first tranche of 30 foreign betting providers have been “black listed” and will be denied access to the Italian telecommunication and internet networks within the next 3 weeks.
