According to the Sunday Times, Victor Chandler has hired the corporate-finance firm Zeus Capital to evaluate an unsolicited approach and advise on how to proceed. Victor Chandler, which has a significant following in the Far East, this year is expected to generate a gross win of £43.4m on sales of £1.4bn. Analysts put a tag price on the Gibraltar-based firm of about £300m and some rumours indicate betting exchange Mansion as the likely bidder.
