IG Group to launch a new binary betting product for the sports market

IG said in a statement that the group has continued to experience strong volumes both in the UK and internationally and it will continue to develop its unregulated product range including a simplified form of binary betting specifically designed for the sports market.

Binary betting is a form of fixed-odds betting, which quotes prices between 0-100 instead of, say, in decimal or fraction format, and unlike IG\’s main product, spread betting, it offers limited risk and limited reward.

In separate news, Blue Square launched a new suite of virtual sports games developed by CTXM.
