iMEGA seeks a temporary restraints to halt enforcement of the UIGEA

While the House Financial Services Committee chaired by Congressman Barney Frank said it will hold a hearing to examine whether online gambling can be regulated to protect consumers and the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States is considering a change in its position traditionally against internet gambling, the Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association filed a lawsuit against the US Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Reserve System to stop the enforcement of the UIGE Act.
