Happy Hammers To Frustrate Chelsea

It\’s going to be a fiery Monday night London derby when Chelsea make the short trip across the city to the East End to face West Ham at the London Stadium.

There is no love lost between these two bitter rivals and that showed in their English Football League Cup meeting back in October when crowd trouble erupted and hopefully, all eyes will be on the pitch rather than off it.

Chelsea would appear to be running away with the Premier League title sitting 10 points clear at the top, but this is going to be one of their most difficult tasks for the remainder of the season and I am not so sure they will have it all their own way.

The pair met on the opening weekend of the campaign at Stamford Bridge at Chelsea were very unlucky to win that 2-1 and they\’ve had trouble against West Ham in the past failing to beat them on both occasions they met last season and in the 2-1 loss in the EFL Cup.

Antonio Conte\’s side arrive in great form though with just ONE defeat in their last 20 and they have rightly installed the favourites to win again, but the 1.62 on general offer does look on the short side against the improving Hammers.

Slaven Bilic side have taken a time to adjust to surroundings at their new home this season but since the departure of want-away playmaker Dimitri Payet they\’ve steadily got better and better.

Ahead of their biggest match of the season the Hammers\’ are in good form with just one defeat in their last six matches and they will be no pushovers and the 6.00 with BetVictor is very, very tempting.

Chelsea don\’t have to go all out for the win as draws away from home and wins at Stamford Bridge (where they are unstoppable) will see them be crowned champions and Conte might go here not to get beating.

I am very tempted by the price on West Ham with green listed bookmakers, as under the lights the London Stadium will be rocking, but the draw is a concern and the best bet in the match is to take the 2.50 with Paddy Power on West Ham +0.5 on the Asian handicap line.
