Gamebookers and PartyBets double their revenues during the third quarter

The two online sportsbooks doubled their third quarter revenues to $4.2m on total betting volumes of $86.3m, up from $75.6m in the previous quarter. Unique active players during the period were 53,700, with around 8,000 new real money sign-ups and a yield per unique active player of $77, up 169% over the previous quarter and 48% compared to the same period in 2006. Gross winning margin returned to an acceptable 5.6% after a disappointing run of sporting results in the second quarter.
