Excapsa to raise up to £75 million in London floatation

The internet gambling software firm behind UltimateBet and UltimatePoker is pursuing a floatation that will value the company at more than £150 million and will provide capital for acquisitions and technology development.

Excapsa, which is being advised by Cannacord Adams, announced plans for a listing last July, but the subsequent volatilty of internet gaming stocks served to delay its plans.

In separate news, online casino and poker website 32Red has appointed Edward Andrewes as the company\’s new Development Director with immediate effect. Andrewes, who joins from Victor Chandler International, will take responsibility for marketing, commercial partnerships and new online gambling product development.
