David Carruthers to use the recent WTO ruling for his defense

In December 2006, the lawyers for the former Chief Executive of BetonSports filed a motion to dismiss the racketeering and interstate gambling charges based on the WTO position in the gambling dispute between Antigua and the United States. Prosecutors didn’t oppose the motion and now according to iGaming News, the most recent WTO ruling in favour of Antigua could become a lifeline for David Carruthers.
