The Isle of Man-based group said it will continue to seek clarification on the UIGE Act in relation to pari-mutuel betting, as the company\’s pari-mutuel business, European Wagering Services, has showed strong revenues into the new financial year and is actively co-operating with existing and potential B2B clients in relation to technology services for wagering through its Isle of Man totalisator hub into racecourse pools.
Chairman Denham Eke also said the new sportsbook website has been very well received by the customers and the number of wagering opportunities has increased with the addition of a fully embedded flash casino complementing the live dealer casino and games suite.
