Denham Eke, Betinternet chairman, announced at the company’s annual general meeting, that the bookmaker will benefit from the recent policy change in the Isle of Man opening up to accept bets from the US.
The Company intends to accelerate and consolidate the growth of its pari-mutuel business, which has more than doubled the turnover during the current financial year.
“We believe that we can build upon this trend,” Eke said.
The signing of a new contract with Magna Entertainment will further enhance the extensive range of host track offered to customers who wish to wager on US thoroughbreds and greyhounds.
