Computer Weekly named Betfair as the ‘Best Place to work in IT’ in the entertainment and leisure category for 2005.
“Betfair’s 120 IT professionals work with leading edge technology, and the importance of their function is recognised by the company, such that IT staff feel they are a critical part of the company’s success,” said the judges.
“Although Betfair is seen as a betting company, without the technology and the hard, around-the-clock work of the 120 engineers, the company wouldn’t exist,” said Betfair’s CTO, David Yu.
