After three years debate, the Belgian Government could soon issue nine licenses to online casinos.
According to a study of the Gambling Commission, over 100,000 Belgian are regularly betting online although it is considered illegal.
A new law draft is being presented to the Minister of Justice. The Gambling Commission stated that the new regulation will allow for a major control over the online betting business.
Elsewhere, the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law will publish its long-awaited Study of Gambling Services in the EU Internal Market on April 24.
