Bavarian court says it is technically impossible to ban internet sports betting

In September 2006, the German state of Bavaria banned Bwin from taking sports bets and while a regional court later suspended the ban, this week’s ruling puts an end to the eight-month dispute. The Bavarian administrative court said the state did not show a single comprehensible and convincing way for the sports betting sites to technically implement the ban.
