We’ve reach the decisive day with Grigor Dimitrov and Kei Nishikori fighting for the Brisbane International trophy. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixture below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Dimitrov vs. Nishikori

As we predicted in our semi-finals analysis, Kei Nishikori proved to be too strong for Stan Wawrinka. The Japanese is for the first time in the Brisbane International final after three prior defeats in the semi-finals. Looking now to Nishikori’s numbers against Wawrinka, the highlight clearly goes to his performance on pressure points. Besides saving 80.0% of the break points he faced, the world no.5 also converted 100% of the opportunities he had on Stan’s serve.

Playing in Brisbane brings the best out of Grigor Dimitrov with the Bulgarian holding a terrific 76.47% winning record throughout his career on this event. After losing in 2013 final against Andy Murray, Dimitrov is looking for his first career title on this event. It has been a great week for Grigor, defeating two top players in the previous two rounds – Dominic Thiem and Milos Raonic. Known for his powerful serve, Dimitrov won 95.20% of his service games throughout this event.

This will be the 5th career meeting between these two players with Nishikori winning all their previous four encounters.

With both playing at such a good level this week we can only expect a high-quality contest. As the h2h suggests, this is a good match-up for Nishikori with Dimitrov clearly struggling against Kei’s phenomenal baseline game. Despite Grigor’s outstanding numbers on serve, Nishikori is famous for his remarkable return to serve. With this in mind, Nishikori is the clear favourite for this final at 29/50 at Pinnacle while Bet365 offers 3/2 for Dimitrov’s success.
