Around 80 per cent of UK bookmakers use Aristotle\’s Integrity:OnLine, an international fraud prevention, age and identity verification service, which now expands its capacity by operating the Global Self-Exclusion Database (GSED).
GSED is a worldwide database of individuals who have chosen to exclude themselves from gambling activity. Should an individual whose name is on the list attempt to open an account with a participating gambling site, Integrity:OnLine would not return an approval code to the merchant, thus preventing the user from opening an account with the site.
