11-05-2007: Winamax (2) ignores IBAS ruling. In September 2006, the UK-based bookmaker voided a tennis bet after the end of the event claiming a palpable error. Earlier this week, IBAS ruled that since Winamax did not notify the client prior to the match, the bet has to stand but at corrected odds corresponding at the best price available at a major bookmaker. Winamax did not answer our e-mail.UPDATE 14-05-2007: Winamax informs Bookmakers Review that following the IBAS ruling the bet that was previously voided, has now been validated at corrected odds and the money credited to the player\’s account.
