All NFL games are equal, but certain NFL games hold greater significance than others. To borrow from Orwell, this phrase aptly captures the essence of the games that are played in the final month of the regular season.

Higher Stakes

A December game carries the same weight as one played in September, yet there is an inherent difference. As time progresses, each play has a greater weight of significance, unlike the earlier stages of the season. The final push of the season makes it feel like every outcome has a greater impact on the playoff scenario, especially after some of the results from last Sunday.

NFC Championship Revenge Game

Week 13 begins on Thursday, November 30, with the Seahawks paying a visit to the Cowboys. With six teams on their bye week, Sunday’s matchups are not the most appealing ones. However, with the 49ers and the Eagles clashing in Philadelphia, the day is saved, as San Francisco seeks redemption after their loss in last season’s NFC Championship game.

More Revenge Games

On Sunday Night Football, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will square off against the Love Train at Lambeau Field. Meanwhile, the Bengals will travel to Jacksonville to face Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
