Late Saturday night action: Australian NBL1 steam

Have been taking a few months off to get things done. Thought I would take a peak at some Aussie steam. My results have been varied in the past so this is just for fun. Play accordingly.

Gold Coast Rollers -4 -113 (Heritage)
Just playing steam. Pinnacle went from +102 to -128. Other books are still at -108 to -113.

Ipswich Force/Gold Coast Rollers over 187 1/2 -113 (Heritage)
Just playing steam. Pinnacle went from +110 to -130. Other books have gone to -130. Heritage just seems to be slow to move.

Indigo Bay Hawks +9 -113 over the Wellington Saints (Heritage)
This has been steamed from +10 1/2 about 15 minutes ago. Pinnacle has this at +8 1/2.

Possibly more later.

Thanks ck. I don't like to bet steam on soccer. It seems like there's so much funny business going on. But the basketball down under seems to be a viable place to bet steam.

Speaking of basketball, I'm seeing late steam on the Dominican Republic -25 over the US Virgin Islands in the Central American & Caribbean Games tourney. I'm going to see if that's a good place to bet steam too. This starts at 4:30pm/1:30pm.

No, I just use OddsPortal.com and check it whenever I'm bored.

I think I'm going to pay special attention to Aussie and Kiwi baskets though. A bunch of them go off at midnight Eastern/9pm Pacific so I'll tune in to that webpage ahead of time to see if there's any movement.

Well, the Dominicans didn't come through. They only won by 20. It's tough to bet a big spread like that. What's the motivation to keep going after you have a 20 point lead.

The only steam I see down under is a women's game, although the men's games are staggered starting at midnight E/9pm P so there could be more steam later on.

Now, I usually don't bet women's games. I just find they are too unreliable. But some people have good luck betting WNBA in the US so maybe the steam is valid for the women down under too.

I'm not going to bet this but the Southern Tigers (w) went from +9 to now +6 1/2 against the Sturt Sabres (w). It starts in a couple minutes. Let's just see how that turns out.

Edit: I see that Southern just went to +5.

Sturt 110, Southern 54, Loss by a bucket.

Only 33 points were scored in the 3rd so I thought this had a good chance to win but 46 points were score in the 4th to make this go over.

There was steam on over 83 for the 1st half but I had the under for the game so I didn't bet it but it went over.

I was going to take under 84 for the 2nd half but was already invested in the under so I didn't take it. There were 79 points scored in the 2nd half so that would have won as well.

So the one I took lost by 2 points but the ones I passed on won. Sometimes you just can't catch a break in gambling.
