Is it true they are backing off the theft law. The one where if you steal < $1000 worth of stuff (or something like that) you never go to jail????

From what I’ve seen/read some big stores (like cvs/walgreens) have to close in some of the ghettos because of the theft that’s getting out of hand.

And they are being called racists for closing up shops in those hoods.

Again, it’s just what I saw/read. Could be fake news?

I think Djeff is right (his opinion, not his politics). There are nutjobs on both sides. Unfortunately, I think sometimes people choose to ignore the ones that are on their side of the aisle.
