Yeah makes sense no value there at -500 or more.

yeah, if they offered the ”no” for each golfer than people would realize just how much vig is being charged…lol.

We could convert every golfer’s odds to percentages and see just how far over 100% they are when we had them up.

Harman with the low rounds Friday and Saturday.

Tied 65 with clark yesterday and shot 64 today.

64 is the lowest of the tournament so far.

Pre-tournament the total book price on the winner is normally 200% or a little higher. The juice is so high UK books now pay out each-way bets on up to top 10 finishers rather than top 4 as was the case 20 years ago.

Off-topic but a large proportion of the total book price juice is down to books being overly cautious of betting fraud on rank outsiders. For context I ran a forum sportsbook for the equivalent of forum points - strictly no cash. I only did the 4 Majors and the Players Championship in golf. It was top 45-60 in the betting and the bonus rule was 'these players only'. I also reduced the juice down from about 155% down to about 135%. I only paid out on a 2nd placed finisher due to a rank outsider winning once in about 20 tournaments, (Kim Si-woo in 2017. Paid out on Louis Oosthuizen).

Golf futures are purely for fun.

I've been playing in the Top 5, 10, 20, and even Top 30 sandbox for a couple years now.

Seems to have the most opportunity there when looking at strokes gained in relation to golfers skills on certain courses...like the Harman bet I put in this thread.

Seems like I often end up on a golfer that either goes lower than anyone in a round or shoots the lowest round, even if he doesn't cash for me.

Not unlike Harman this week.

Only good advice I can give in regards to golf is if you're ever at a golfing event and you find yourself next to a Brit named John Carter - bet whatever he bets. lmao.
