I will be rooting for them as well but not too hopeful. Here in Costa Rica will make a small wager on CR so that I can cheer them on with the Ticos & Ticas . They are ravenous about their football. Love their Passion !!!
Anything can happen, it wouldn't be a huge huge shock, it is possible , you never know.I agree with you, Fly! I love to see CR to win but Mexico is too strong for them.
Harpo, you're in CR for vacation? Here in Costa Rica will make a small wager on CR so that I can cheer them on with the Ticos & Ticas . They are ravenous about their football. Love their Passion !!!
True as well. Everything is unpredictable in soccer.Anything can happen, it wouldn't be a huge huge shock, it is possible , you never know.
1 unit each?CR is horrible
Take the over also
Like for real! I know CR is not playing well, but if Qatar manages to beat Mexico, I think CR can also try.CR beating Mexico would be huuuugggeeee.
It would really devastate El Tri considering how they've struggled in tournys the last few years.
Most of the Ticos here don't want this coach either. He is no good, though the only problem is his contract as a National coach will end in 2026, which means he will still manage the team in the World Cup.meh, Luis Suarez (CR'a La Sele coach) is on his way out. After they lose the concacaf gold cup, it'll probably seal the deal. He's a ticking time bomb. But I don't blame him. It's the entire Tico culture. The best coach they had (Pinto - the one that took them far in the 2014 World Cup) was driven out because he worked his players "too hard".
Nothing's changed.

Haha very well said, Chilidog. I call it "The Pura Vida Way" hahaLook at every coach at all the main CR clubs ... saprissa, la liga, herediano, la sele, etc ... they all have the same style; they play not to lose. They're too reactive. Not aggressive.
Pinto changed all that and was bulldozed out of there for working his players too hard. It's just the culture in general. Too passive-aggressive. Blame others. Complain about things, but don't actually do anything about it.
But hey ... pura vida!
Yeah. Seems like this is the case.Everyone one the over 2.5
