Cash out option. I was checking college basketball lines and says cash out to the left of the teams. Nothing there for NBA though.

Yup just like everybody pushing the parlays on the customers relentlessly.

Yeah that option is gaining popularity everywhere.

Books probably get calls all the time from bettors wanting out of bets, so might as well offer it with a cost attached.

I see no reason to consider cashing out bets - short of bonus scalping and the ability to lock up a “guaranteed profit” by cashing out bets on both sides - above what the wager would pay at settlement of the event - which presumably would be rare given the higher take out of cashed out bets.

It’s a sucker option - like many juiced up live bets and SGP’s they love to push. Why pay 10 cents when you can pay 40 is the logic these places push on unknowing bettors. The 1 time you “save” cashing out - vs the 19 it cost you is ridiculous. If your regularly cashing out bets - you should stick to keno - not sports.

Its actually a huge benefit for me betting live basketbal totals

Often I already have a good number but will get one even better, then cash out the lower one
