What's interesting is that Shannon had a chaperone druing his trip to Kansas and that individual indicated that the allegations by the 18 yo woman were false and nothing happened.

So you’re aware of an open investigation - local PD assist in bringing him in for questioning- say nothing. Some prosecutor looking for headlines announced charges - suddenly it’s “credible” and you throw the kid to the wolves.

He lawyers up - wins the temporary restraining order (rightfully) and you want to walk it back like nothing happened. At minimum - they needed to have allowed him access to staff/facilities/practices - not cut him off from the team over an allegation of inappropriate contact.

Zero tolerance my ass - they ignored it until forced to do something by media - and then tried to hang him out. Illinois gonna look hella stupid if he’s determined to be innocent here - and with what little info is out there that’s very possible. This allegedly happened in a very busy bar with off duty officers handling security. Wanna bet a few members of security don’t suddenly change statements in the next month?
