What is his record vs top 5 teams? That is what he is coaching top 5 talent. You want to give him credit for beating Indiana go right ahead.
Should we go get Urban back?

Im sure you love losing random games to Iowa and Purdue every year.

“But he beat Michigan.” Yeah, Michigan has also sucked until the last couple years. And that may be because of cheating after all.

Who would Ohio State hire to replace him? The only guy id be open to is Vrabel

It’ll be fine. Michigan is about to fall apart anyway. Harbaugh is leaving

It's amazing that Ryan Day is on the hot seat but you lose "The Game" three straight times and that's what happens. I think Day is a good coach but he better start beating Michigan or they will fire him and hire someone who can beat Michigan. I don't know who Ohio State will get that is better than Ryan Day but I do know he is probably is in trouble if he doesn't start beating the Maize and Blue.

He can beat Michigan lol

He has, and the Covid year Michigan faked covid to avoid playing Ohio State as 35-point underdogs. He would be 2-3 going against the only good Michigan teams of the last couple decades. Lost a game by 6 on the road as underdogs

Urban and Tressel got to play some very weak Michigan teams

Michigan is about to fall off a cliff too. Day will get his

He's not on the hot seat

That is a delusional fan base narrative

The same fans who were convinced he was going to Texas A&M
Ok but sometimes a coach can get railroaded out of town when he loses big games and they don't get any bigger than losing to Michigan. I know he's beaten Michigan and these things have a way of turning themselves around which very well could happen if Harbaugh is no longer at Michigan but fans are irrational at powerhouse schools like Ohio State and losing to Michigan doesn't sit well with the boosters or fanbase so he could get forced out. I'd probably say he deserves to turn it around but every school who is used to winning and beating their main rival always has that 1% who will say its time for a change if he can't beat Michigan and get us back to the playoffs and playing for a National Title.

The only way Ryan Day leaves is if he decides to go coach in the NFL

Ohio State isn't USC, Texas, A&M, Florida, Nebraska, etc. They aren't stupid enough to set back their program by making a stupid decision because some stupid boosters or fans want him out.

Not anymore anyway

Ohio State also knows Michigan is about to go into a dark period

Yeah that's true. I actually do believe that Ryan Day deserves to be entrenched at Ohio State and firing him would be a mistake. Media and some nutjob fans want him gone but Ohio State would probably would be worse off if they got rid of him because not many coaches can go 56-7 and have their team in the playoff conversation every single season.

Ohio State will continue to regress under Day.

Wait till next year then it will be the year after that. He can tell everyone how tough his teams are and keep talking trash to 90 year olds while Michigan runs the ball up his teams ass for the last 8 minutes of the game.
