Contest will start with the Feb 27th race and end with the May 15th race(12 races total for contest incase dates get changed).

How to participate

Select 3 Drivers with car# each week. You can only use each driver/car# ONCE for the ENTIRE 12 races. A list of drivers will be posted in an official thread every Friday by 8PM ET. Submissions must be turned in at once with all 3 drivers with car# in one post. Drivers cannot be changed once submitted. In event of a driver change, you will still have action with the car#. Using duplicate drivers will result in a last place finish for that driver/car#.

Thank you for running this great contest, Enikk!
I am just glad you liked my idea and listen to your posters here at BMR. Great prizes by the way. Would of been a fun post up contest as well but even better it being free for everyone to join. Anyone ever has any ideas than make sure you share them because unlike anywhere else, BMR listens.

This is awesome!!! I don't know the first thing about NASCAR and couldn't care less. My NFL withdrawal symptoms need this and now I get to learn how to bet a new sport. Sign me up! Any forum contest is the best news I can get after logging in here after work!

Couple of questions Enikk. These seem obvious to me but, it might be good to clarify for everyone to avoid issues later.

1. I would assume you have to participate in all 12 weeks for a chance at the overall contest prize. Miss a week and you are out for the overall prizes but you can still participate in the weekly prize (as long you're in for 6 weeks)... Right?

2. I assume the points won are equivalent to the position your driver finished... Driver w/ 11th place finish = 11 points, 35th place finish = 35 pts, etc....

Thanks for the contest BMR and thanks Enikk for running it.

1. The most important rule is that drivers can only be used once. So over 12 weeks almost every driver will be used. Those that sign on late would be given a 38,39,40 for weeks they didn't play. Whatever the last 3 places are. At some point do you go for the weekly smaller prize or still go for the year end. Regardless, drivers can only be used once so could start up later and still have a shot if finish well. The key is strategically getting the most out of the crappy drivers and hoping your stud drivers don't get in a crash the one and only chance you get to use them.

2. Correct, 11th place 11 points. 35th place 35 points. You want the lowest score.

Should make for a really fun contest with a variety of drivers chosen each week instead of contests where everyone has the same best teams/drivers. Lots of things to root for and to really look who is involved in those crashes.

Erik/Genie will the actual contest be posted in a new “Auto Racing” Forum of some sort?

I know especially in the football offseason NASCAR and F1 are pretty popular

I guess if I had my wish on three new betting forums popping up they would be

Auto Racing
MMA/Boxing
Golf (all four majors and the players championship coming up next five months)
