This is correct, no fees. My BIL has one and it works great! They sell it on Amazon so I assume there are no legal issues for the consumer.I did some research on this and it looks as if you buy the box you don't have that monthly fee.... Interesting
It stands for Internet Protocol television. I use Jetstream TV currently. There are a ton of different websites with different price options. This might be a good starting point for youisnt IPTV a broad term
it means any t.v over the internet?
any specific brands ppl use? cost?
Most IPTV providers offer the same channels for the most part. Some of your local channels you may not get on certain providers but you may get them on others. I had to end up doing a bunch of different trials of different IPTV services to find one that had our local news station. I finally found one that had it. So it's kind of hit or miss if you're looking for a particular Channel. But for the most if you don't care about a particular local channel you will find different broadcasts of say fox or ABC from different parts of the countryOK guys.... You've got me really interested.
I subscribe to so many streaming services its crazy. Hulu Live TV, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Philo, Frndly ..... I don't think we watch some of these for weeks at a time. There is a lot of overlap between some of these too.
Does IPTV offer the same channels and can you find your local TV broadcast stations on it?
