Want to here stories. I am dealing with something now and I feel my family (me) will be taken to court regarding something that is currently happening, regarding my last trip back to Santa Barbara and home heath care services.I will elaborate more and it is pretty interesting to say the least. I am going to bring down a company in a big way if it comes to this. I just fired off a great email, can' wait to see the response.... chime in if anyone has been taken to court here.

Careful here, if there are legal issues brewing, use an attorney to communicate.

I've only taken someone to court, and smashed his non paying ass in front of the judge and won it by a mile, but I've never been on the defending end in the courtroom.

I will destroy them and I will spend 100k to prove my point to them. I have stuff on them to shut them down.

Mine were over theft, the last one my neighbor said, I stole two snowblowers

They were in the bushes, bordering the property line with a lot of debris on them, so I didn’t take them

So you had to convince a judge that you didn't steal two snowblowers from the neighbor?

Did you win that case?

There is no way I will lose, even if I did lose in court, I would take her soul and her company as well would be in shambles with what I have on her and her services.

I agree with KVB here.

Let your atty deal with it and don't give them the bullet to use it against you.

You don't know the law. If you know the law, you don't know it as well as a professional attorney does. Don't be cheap, ask around, conduct 2-3 interviews and pick an attorney who makes himself available on short notice and makes a generally good impression. Pay whatever he is asking (within reasonable limits, of course).

Here's why...

According to the existing legal framework, professionals, including lawyers, are required to demonstrate the standard of care and skill expected of a reasonable person in their respective professions.

(a professional lawyer)...should scrutinize the legality of the seller's title, ensuring that the seller is the rightful owner of the property. Additionally, the lawyer should investigate whether the seller's title is unencumbered and free from adverse interests.

In situations where there is no distinct legal title, lawyers should assess potential future issues and, if necessary, advise clients to seek the expertise of other professionals after providing appropriate warnings.

(importantly!!!) negligence occurs when an attorney fails to make reasonable inquiries into the title, being misled by the apparent respectability of the vendor.

These were notes my friend shared with me last year, selling his property in an exotic foreign country. In private conversations, he said he paid thousands in legal fees, but it was well worth it on a deal worth a couple hundred thousand US.

The last bit means that paying your attorney means you automatically get him to act in your best interest. If he is fooled, if he is negligent and doesn't do his homework - or if he is simply an average lawyer at best - you can sue HIM for not doing well/not being good enough at protecting your best interest.

Imagine paying a very good handicapper for picks. Paying a lawyer is similar, with one exception: the former is trying to help you beat the system, while the latter helps you get what you are rightfully owed, within the legal system.

Correct.

But if it becomes small claims, in CA, they usually don't even allow attorneys. It's rare if at all they get involved.

But an attorney should be a part of all communications up to that point for sure.

This biiaatch will cower when she gets a letter from a Law Firm, unless is Ambulance Chasers, LLC or some Mickey Mouse shit like that.

I would hire an attorney and go after and destroy her business and expose her.
